Installation Process Of Arch Linux GUI
First, download the latest version of Arch Linux from here and make a bootable USB drive. After that boot your computer from a bootable flash drive. When the USB drive is booted you will see the Arch Linux Logo and installation down below. Now you have to choose the first option Arch Linux installer (x86_64, BIOS), and press Enter.
1) Now the lIve ISO installation session is started on your computer. Now after that you will click on the three dots here to expand its dock option.
2) The application list shows up click on the Arch Linux logo icon and reads the icon name as "Install Arch Linux".
3) After that, the installation process is started now will see some familiar basic settings first, Now you have to select your language and click on next.
4) Now choose your location and click on Next.
5) Choose your keyboard layout and language that Arch will use and click on Next.
Note: Making a partition of your hard disk can erase the entire disk so make your files backup before installing Arch Linux on your computer.
6) In the partition option, you can Erase the disk and install it or you can create a partition manually and click on Next.
7) After that this asks for your name, system user name and password fill in that and click on Next.
8) Now, this last page will show you all summary if you want to make any other changes before installation click on back to make changes after that click on Install.
9) After the installation is completed tick the check box and clicks on Done. The system will restart.
10) After the reboot, you can log in on Arch Linux and you will see a generic GNOME desktop.
